Income support disregarded earnings

Options
Hello,
I've had a letter from JS this morning regarding my IS and I've noticed that my small private pension of £12 a week is being deducted. I thought that there was an income disregard? £20 in case of disability?
Does anyone know if pensions are exempt from this disregard - before I go calling them and get fobbed off.
I'm a single mum with a disability and get the disabled and severely disabled premiums.
Thanks.
