Faulty Nissan qashqai audio system

I have a nissan qashqai the audio system drains the battery when the car is turned off does anyone know if their is an answer to fixing it?
The radio turns on even if the car isn't on and doent work most of the time if the car is turned on. I have had it to the garage who has removed the audio system as it was causing a 1amp drainage.
If anyone could give me advise on how to fix it (if possible)that would be great as a new unit costs in the range of£900! 😰

Probably better off posting on one of the Qashqai forums such as:-

Options are likely to be a second hand Nissan unit or a new standard make unit eg Clarion, Sony with the appropriate adapters.0
