Uninstall a program on Windows 8

Can anyone help me please!!

I have a program called Tuneup Pro (Windows8 P Repair) that keeps popping up repeatedly on my laptop. I certainly haven't installed it but don't seem to be able to get rid of it either. I've been to Control Panel - Programs - click on it and tried to uninstall but it wont go and I don't know what else to do.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks Malcnascar for your advice. I have tried malwarebytes but it hasn't worked so I'll now try 10 Bit Uninstaller.
  • Hi, uninstalling a stubborn program from Windows is not an easy thing. You not only need to uninstall the executive file but also delete its related files, folders, and registry files it creates. Thus, it can make sure a complete uninstall. If you want to know how to exactly uninstall a program, please email me.
  • Hi, Windows Add or Remove Programs can't help you to uninstall the program, you can try the way below to remove it:
Show the hidden files and folders
Windows 7/Vista: Click Start > Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization > View.
Windows XP: Click Start > Control Panel > Appearance and Themes > Folder Options > View.
Windows 8/10: Right-click Start icon (In the lower left corner of screen) > Control Panel > Appearance and Personalization > Folder options (Windows 8)/File Explorer Options (Windows 10)> View.
Tick Show hidden files, folders, and drives; uncheck Hide protected operating system files (Recommended). Then click Apply > OK button.

    Delete its file and folder
    C:\Program Files\TuneUp Pro
    C:\ProgramdData\TuneUp Pro
    C:\Users\User Name\AppData\Roaming\TuneUp Pro
    C:\Users\User Name\AppData\Local\TuneUp Pro

Clean the registry entries created by TuneUp Pro

•Simultaneously press Windows + R key on the keyboard.
•Type regedit into the box and click OK button to open Registry Editor.
•In the opened window, simultaneously press Ctrl + F key.
•After a dialog box pops up, type TuneUp Pro into the box and click Find Next button.
