They can't see all the information on your credit file, just some of it, I think it's just to see if you have CCJ's / bankruptcy etc.
I have 5 defaults, and my partner has 1, and we passed the credit check part in July for our flat.Aqua £160.00 / EE £289.60
Total debt = £449.600 -

You can't pass or fail a credit check. The credit check will give you a score and it is up to the landlord if your score along with other referencing means that they have enough evidence to determine if you are likely to be a good tenant. If my prospective tenants had 6 defaults...0 -
Just take the help of any friends or lawyers to help you understand the terms and conditions that the owner would put in the deal. Also check out the land lord's track record.0

What nonsense. Credit 'scores' are a useless number only seen by you and the credit agency. If experian score you 999, they could equally score you 7 camels or 9 goats for the amount of worth that number has.0 -
They see only public records, so CCJ and worse.:beer:0
