Closing down a business

Where is the best place to sell off stock when you are closing down a business. I thought about Ebay but items seem to go for silly money and then there are the fees. Ideally someone who was starting up a similar business would be my target market as I could offer items without having a minimum amount order.
Thanks

Depends what you are selling, but i got rid of a lot of stuff on ebay from our business when it closed and got reasonably money for it.
Nearly finished now, i plan to do up a 'wholesale' job lot of the remaining bits and bobs.0 -
Alison what business are you selling?
Ebay items can go really cheaply but you could put a reserve on expensive items

I am completely closing down my babies boutique - so selling off all the childrens clothing, toys etc and I want to get rid of my perfect presents stock too as I want to go more into designing my own items rather than buying in stock.0
