About to transfer my balance to 0% - should I tell the bank I have the debt with?

This wasn't a fib. Natwest have recently stopped offering 0% deals, marketing this as them being helpful as customers are often caught out when the 0% period ends. Of course, people who use 0% deals wisely (many of whom will be members of these boards!) do not get caught out and so this isn't "helpful" at all!Natwest said they don't offer any 0% cards anymore..(think that may have been a little fib don't you?!)0 -
Goodness well thanks I didn't know that..hmmm 'helpful' indeed...looks like I was lucky to get one in the first place.phew!0

Hello again!
Thought this might be of interest...it sort of answers my original question a bit...sometimes the CC company with the existing debt might lower interest rates if you ask nicely..
Its an article on choose.net called
'Who offers balance transfers for their existing customers?' (if you google it should come up!)
Hope its a help and thanks for the replies!0 -
