The price of jet fuel has also started rising (at the moment by about 5p/l).
I was one of those that never thought it would go below £1 anyway, but such is life.
Cheapest diesel I've bought has been at £1.08, about 3 weeks ago in Leeds.💙💛 💔0 -
A petrol price INCREASE story on MSE? *passes out*0

It'll probably end up like 2010 again. I remember it being around 105 at the start of the year, then was 120p by the summer.CKhalvashi wrote: »

It did go to under £1 at some Harvest forecourts down in the midlands area.0 -

I know, I posted about this last week too. And the price has risen again this week.0 -
Twice Tesco have put it up this week!Jan Wins: .0

Only one time did i get the cost at 99.9ppl with my 3p off voucher. I am sure in the summer i will be paying £1.50ppl and the justification Russia, Greece. Germany. O what the hell lets just blame it on tesco's now making a profit which makes the world unstable i think you get my point.0

petrol and diesel prices have risen, but has the oil price?
MAssive differences in prices across the midlands area. For me diesel as low as 109.9 but as high as 117.9...disgraceful really. I actually think its worse as prices didn't fall as fast and never got that low in some service stations0 -
Yes, the oil price has gone up but my money is on a downward bounce in May/ June time. We might see sub £1 prices by July.0

It dropped to around $48 a barrel a few weeks ago; Brent Crude is currently around $61.
Quite why oil prices have suddenly risen (aside political unrest, pounds sterling vs US dollar etc) I can't seem to find out.
However I feel it's a temporary blip... Give it a few weeks and I think they'll start to fall again.
The cheapest I've paid for fuel in recent weeks was 94.9p/l (Unleaded) at Sainsbury's due to a 10p off per litre coupon. I paid £1.059p/l at my nearest Tesco Express which is vastly different to the petrol stations near to where I work which are charging £1.119p/l!It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.0
