    Could even use Dropbox to upload the photos to it, setup Dropbox on the PC and downloads said photos.

    I don't understand this statement. I use Jabra Revo Bluetooth headphones with my iPod and the sound quality is outstandingly good.

    I email photos to myself, then choose 'export to iPhoto'.

    There's an app called Chirp that lets you beam images from one phone/tablet to another, using sound!

    Yeah, but it downsizes the photos to low resolution so no good if the recipient is to print out the photos etc
