What time at the airport

Flying from Dublin next week at 8.00am to UK.
Have no hold baggage and have not paid for any priority service.
Is it realistic to arrive at the airport at 7.00am and go straight through security?
Travelling by Irelands infamous el cheapo but with more hurdles to cross than the "Grand National" airline?

Your airline should give you guidance of when to turn up, if you dont follow this then you may struggle with any insurance claims or discussions with the airline etc.
Flights within the british isles are normally listed as 90 minutes before take off but it can vary by airline/ airport.0 -
In theory it is fine. Although I'm not one of those who advocates getting to the airport hours in advance (probably someone who is will be along shortly), I would say that Dublin T1 can have quite long security queues on occasion, and first thing in the morning might be one of those times with a lot of business travellers (unless it's a weekend).
You might want to give yourself an extra 20/30 mins just in case security is very busy, bearing in mind Ryanair asks you to be at the gate at least 30 mins before the flight.0 -
As above, one hour is usually fine for a flight of this nature..but you can never account for how many people are in the security queue in front of you and how difficult they're going to choose to be.

As the OP is taking an international flight, it would be advisable to stick to the 90 minutes minimum advised by both Ryanair and Dublin airport.
The flight is fairly early in the morning there is a good chance that the airport will be busy so IMO, leaving an hour might be pushing it a bit.0
