Grrr, ebay have annoyed me!

So I sold an item, buyer didn't pay or respond, time passed, I put in a non paying dispute, today I withdraw it so I can relist my item and then I find out they are no longer a registered user. Why couldn't they have told me that sooner? And as for the non paying buyer, they're very naughty!

Sirry I 'm not sure I understand?
if you closed your dispute after the full 8 days then you will have got your FVfs back plus a relist credit, so it might have been your strike that suspended the buyer...hence it not happening until after dispute closed.
If however you cancelled the dispute entirely, then I would ask why..as you've then lost your FVFs and any relist credit.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I see, I did wait the full 8 days, sorry I didn't make that clear.
I thought the buyer had unregistered since the dispute had been put in but now I know I've sort of unregistered them. I'm not annoyed with ebay now then, thanks soolin0 -
On your "my summary" page, there will be a list of transactions that you have not deleted (this is where you can leave feedback etc). When you have an item listed here, the minute the account closes, the transaction should automatically flag that the user is no longer a registered user on your summary page. In this case, theres probably not alot ebay can do, as a member can close an account at any time and doesnt need ebays permission to do so, even if there are outstanding transactions.
you'll get your fees back - i hate non payers as well  . They are VERY naughy and VERY inconsiderate.I never missed a payment :T , I paid off all my credit cards :T , I paid of all my loans :T , i have a work mobile :T - but am now "medium" credit risk0 -
I don't think closing an ebay account is something you can do within a day or two. You can't just close your account to get out of a sale!
I think OP's strike was the nail in their ebay account. My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
