Interestingly, this has been one of the news headlines on Radio 5Live all morning; making the point that the "fine" does not reflect the loss to the landowner

There was even a headline about the Beavis appeal (not that his name was mentioned) on BBC Breakfast news as I was leaving the house this morning. They still used the F word, although they did call them "illegal fines".
