Booking a package holiday for large family

Please can anyone advise me. I'm trying to find a holiday for myself, my daughter, her husband and 6 grandchildren. So there are only 3 adults in the party. The eldest child is 12 and there is one infant. I can't seem to find anything online and worry that prices will shoot up if I have to book by phone. We are hoping for an all inclusive deal. Has anyone tried making two separate bookings and is there any way we can avoid the under occupancy charge? Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

Your only option as far as i know is to go to the travel agent as you cannot book online for more than 8 people.
We've done that last year for a group of 12 and we got 2 weeks in Rhodes in august all inclusive for 15k. Whether it was a good deal or not I don't know as i haven't dealt with the booking or paid for it.
The difference is that we only had a 6 year old, everyone else was over 17 in our party of 12 people.0 -
Consider Menorca where there's lots of family friendly accommodation, preferably bungalows around large pools and just book as 2 bungalows or two bookings.
Pick morning flights so you can get there early.
Whereabouts in the UK are you?Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -
As has been said above, you should go to a travel agency for a quote at least, then I would recommend you price up the flights, and email the hotels you like directly. Make the emails F.A.O. Inhouse reservatons, and see what they come back to you with. You've nothing to lose and might well be pleasantly surprised.0

Thank you for your replies, I'll see what my local travel agent can come up with.0

Does it have to be AI?
Hotels will be very expensive, for such a large party, why not get a villa? Buy all your cereals and milk from the supermarket, and either go out for lunch and/or dinner? Also buying staples like bread and sandwich making ingredients for your lunches for the days when you just want to lie around the pool, then out for dinner?
