Overdraft and Renting

I posted the same question I think on the wrong part of the forum -

My brother and I have submitted an application to rent a flat. He's fine with money and no overdraft however lately I am always in mine even a little bit after pay day. I will be getting some money from my parents in two months that would clear it. My credit score is still 'good' will this have an effect on the application for renting?

The estate agent also needs a copy of bank statements, mine will be minus which I'm worried about.

Thanks for any advice

I was in your situation a few months ago and was worried sick. However it all turned out absolutely fine because my credit rating was good and I had always paid any bills. We were accepted so try not to worry :)
