Transferwise to pay deposit in villa

Quick thumbs up to Transferwise, which I used to pay a deposit of 360 Euro for a villa in Portugal found on HomeAway.
It cost me just £1.34 for the transaction, ( Nationwide wanted £20 for a bank transfer ) plus I got a slightly better exchange rate.
The property owner was a bit suspicious of it though, not having heard of the service. I set up the payment on a Saturday and it went through the following Tuesday morning.
