In 2009 my world stopped turning. My little boy Zack had just turned 5 and after many misdiagnosis was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. For 3.5 years we dealt with every day as it happened. Far too frightened to look toward the future. Now my beautiful boy is a happy healthy 10 year old boy. Just completing his first half term of school with no sick days. He and his friend Liam have decided to trek Mount Teide in Tenerife. This is the 3rd largest volcano on earth and is still active. They are dedicated to giving 100 % of monies raised to their chosen charities and us parents are saving hard to pay for the trip with a helping hand from Aurigny.com who are flying us to the mainland for free.. So who is paying for Zack & Liam's trip?

You mentioned their chosen charities, which will receive 100% of the money raised, it would be useful for you to say which charities will benefit.

Hi there. Unable to post link as new user but its written by hand also the title of the fb page. We (the parents) are saving hard to pay for the trip and so far our flights from Alderney to the Uk have been donated by Aurigny.com (local airline). The charities to benefit are listed on the gofundme page as it goes directly into their bank account and I'll edit it now. Thanks for your help.

Well, in 2009 after months of trying to get my poorly son diagnosed with something other than mummys paranoia, we finally got a diagnosis that stopped my world from turning. My baby, only just 5. Diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. For 3.5 years we dealt with every day as it happened often he was wheelchair bound due to weakened muscles from the steroids he had to take. We were far too frightened to look toward the future. Now my beautiful boy is a happy healthy 10 year old . Just completing his first half term of school with no sick days.
