2006 Focus - wiring problem?

Morning,


Anyone know of any wiring issues on a 2006 Focus, petrol, auto to help point me in the right direction?


It's thrown up so many random fault codes suggesting a wiring problem or worst case scenario, ECU. Wiring faults can be a pain to find, but if anyone knows if there are any common one/s would be grateful!

Dodgy earthing could be the problem. Try and trace the earth routes and check the connections along the way.

I'm of the opinion ECU faults are vanishingly rare and that their often scapegoated for all manner of ills that quietly aren't resolved by replacing them - that said I've found a few full of water but not on the Fuxus I hasten to add.

Are they all drivetrain codes? Do you have a list to see if there is a common thread between them all?

Earths are always a great place to start, otherwise it might be time to get volt-dropping.
