Santander 123 odd interest date

I have received my Santander 123 interest without fail on 28th every month since opening the account 2 years ago, as 28th is when I opened the account. However today I noticed an interest payment in my account, 10 days early. Has anybody experienced this before and found the reason why?
Or shall I call the select helpline and ask the "dedicated select account managers" for the first time to see if they're any good?

I believe I've seen it reported on here that the monthly anniversary date changes from the date you originally opened the account to the date you were upgraded to 'Select'?
Maybe a forum search would confirm?0 -
Well 2 answers of the same ilk (and by you two as well) make that a very plausible answer.
I hadn't dont a forum search because I tend to read enough posts that i thought I'd have seen something. Live and learn.0 -
