Santander 123 odd interest date

I have received my Santander 123 interest without fail on 28th every month since opening the account 2 years ago, as 28th is when I opened the account. However today I noticed an interest payment in my account, 10 days early. Has anybody experienced this before and found the reason why?

Or shall I call the select helpline and ask the "dedicated select account managers" for the first time to see if they're any good? ;)

Have you just been "upgraded" to Select? Perhaps it's the monthiversary of that.

I believe I've seen it reported on here that the monthly anniversary date changes from the date you originally opened the account to the date you were upgraded to 'Select'?

Maybe a forum search would confirm?

Well 2 answers of the same ilk (and by you two as well) make that a very plausible answer.

I hadn't dont a forum search because I tend to read enough posts that i thought I'd have seen something. Live and learn.

Well if you're going to search the forum for silly words like "monthiversary" it's no wonder I didn't find that thread haha

That was the 2nd search. The 1st was unsuccessful, but did throw up a few mentions of that word so I included it in the 2nd.
