Hi Levi, sunflowers looking good. How is Ozzie doing, is he pining for his master?0
-
Hey Mandy:) Nah, not pining* too* much as currently sprawled out beside me SNORING his head off
but his ears do stand up when he hears LL speak on Skype and sometimes he starts looking for him behind the laptop hehe xx

hey locas!
wednesday working from home so finally a lil minute for an update, work has been absolutely insane and i've found myself so knackered in the evening i am in the habit of having a "siesta" lol.. (siesta makes it sound far more glam and less lazy right?!)
but all is going along OK in my vida loca. LL is having a great time out there - still not one moment of upset or wanting to go home! spoke to him last night on skype and he is still talking about the miniature pony he rode on last weekend, heaven help me, he wants one now.... that will go down well with our landlord i'm sure..
work busy, but all right.
i have 3 appointments to attend today... crammed them in to my Wednesday.. a quick hospital appointment to follow up on some surgery i had years ago, have to have an annual check up, then a haircut (so overdue I am starting to look like one of the Beatles).. and then finally my CBT at 3pm... I have 3 more left in total now so that will wrap up end of July.
Money-wise.. so-so, but as always down to the bones of my overdraft and only half way through the month. no worries though, everything is still on track, payments all being made, and tax credits come in next monday, with payday the week after. time flies.
my little half- bro Ryan is coming down on Friday night for a weekend visit. i am hugely honoured, he never normally wants anything to do with me.. (he's 19 and far too cool for anything obvs).. so.. need to think of something free to do with him.. i suspect he won't be as easily pleased as LL is .. but it will be nice to hang out with him and see what is going on in his crazy world. and i'm pleased to fill up another weekend which so far has worked well, regarding not having too much time to pine for my little monkey
right, shamefully, i'm still in bed... so time to shake a leg, walk Oscar, then do some work before my trilogy of appointments.....

Hi Levi, are you thinking of going into the city itself or staying local with your brother? when we go into our nearest city, Liverpool, we just soak in the culture, its so diverse. Eating out costs a fortune, so we take something with us usually. Our local station is very small, often the ticket office is shut, and there is no one to take our fare:cool:. Good news at last for us, our central heating work starts a week on Monday.
I have just paid for the boiler and radiators on my first credit card in 25 years, but interest free for 6 months and then will transfer to another. On a down note, Nationwide ppi did not uphold my claim for refund:( hence the credit card.:( But still, looking forward to my warm little house, and when I have paid for that, next year new ceilings and new plaster on walls, and then year after that hopefully new windows. The position with tax credits would scare me s***less if I dwelled on it, I will be worse off £1680 a year. My quandry is this, I could change my school hours to full time hours again, my company will let me do this, but Ben would have to be a latch key kid aged 12, and I don't know if that is legal these days.
My three parents are all in their 80's with dementia, and I have no one else to look after him either side of school. Will see nearer to April 16 what the postition is. Sorry for the ramble, hope you can wind down tonight after your hectic day. Take care, glad you upbeat xxx ps we went to see minions, think LL Would enjoy it xxx:wave:0 -
^ Mandy I'm so sorry to hear how much worse off the tax credits changes will be making you, I'm not really sure how it will affect me yet as I'm too busy with this year's at the moment - they have just sent me two letters which I don't understand, following my renewal... I think other people have written about this somewhere so I will see if I can figure out what on earth these letters mean!! Like you say best not to dwell on it too much and we all need to find some ways of making some extra income.
Hope you have a great weekend with Ryan Levi - he will probably be more than happy to chill out and do free stuff as he probably won't want to spend loads either!! And lots of stuff to do for free in London for sure!!£10 a day extra in May '18[B]£35/310[
