Can anyone please tell me why my Windows 7 Laptop is going slow?
It is running firefox and every command has to be clicked at least 3 times before working.
I have cleared the cache and cleared the clipboard

It could be a few things, have a look in task manager and see if there is anything eating CPU cycles or how much free memory you have.
How much disk space do you have free ?
Have you scanned the PC using something like malwarebytes ?
Do you have more than one antivirus program installed ?
The list goes on and it's a process of elimination.Science isn't exact, it's only confidence within limits.0 -
Run CCleaner .
Try another browser .0 -
It would be wise to Try another browser and run some scans as suggested above. Though keep in mind every click is normally recorded - so every click actually slows the laptop down that little bit more...

Run CCleaner .
Try another browser .
And make sure you run CC Cleaner for both the main cleaner and the Registry cleaner.
You can also use CC Cleaner to shut down items at startup.
I'd suggest shutting down all but the essentials, then turning them back on, one at a time, all the time watching for the machine becoming slow again.0
