Forced to leave at end of temp contract, JSA?

I am working for a new employer on a probationary contract and do not expect to be kept on. If I am let go I will have 1 weeks notice.
I will need to claim JSA and housing while I look for another job, as I do not have any savings to pay the rent.
I believe JSA sanction you on a new claim if you left your job voluntarily, or were dismissed for disciplinary reasons. In my case, I would be given the opportunity to leave of my own accord, or dismissed in a 'he was on a trail contract we didn't want to keep him on' kind of way. I'm not sure how this is categorized.
I want to avoid this penalty and claim (critically) housing benefit and JSA as quickly as possible while I look for a new job.
When I go to the job centre, what do I need to say to avoid a sanction?
Any other advice welcome.

Tell them you were on a trial contract and it was not extended. You aren't leaving of your own accord. Ask for a letter confirming that your contract has not been extended/made permanent - it does not have to say why. Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....
