Hi everyone
few days ago I noticed that i am overdrawn £2000 despite i had £2500 in my account so i called my bank and after being on line for 45min i have been told it's my technical issue and will be sorted soon, but the next day i get text messages for being overdrawn and i need to deposit to my account for my direct debits so I borrowed £2000 of my sister to deposit in my account eventually after 5 days and some phone calls i got my money back in my account, my question is because it was large sum of money i noticed it and if it was small amount i would never noticed it, and also can i ask for compensation ???:mad::mad:

    What does your statement say?
It's not clear what happened, but if it was their fault, I don't see why you can't ask for a compensation.

Why would you not have noticed a small amount if you, hopefully, check your statements at least monthly?

Sorry i was not clear, the money disappeared with no transaction showing in my account history so if i have to manually calculate all pay in and outs to find out about it? how can I ask for compensation and how much is reasonable you think?
