GoPro Hero

I have been interested in getting a GoPro for a while and see that Halfords have a sale on and I could get a GoPro Hero for about £93. I don't know if I should get this now, wait til I actually want it for videos or whether there are better deals out there.

    Not sure how to answer that for you? Was it even a question?!

    Technology marches on, though, so if you don't need it right now and can wait, a better model will be out in a few weeks, months, years.

    Get an SJ4000, it'll be better than a budget level GoPro and only cost around £50.

    NEVER buy from Halfrauds if you can avoid it, their prices are just crazy.

  • There are quite a few options out there, here are few for you;
    iSAW A2, Garmin VIRB Elite, HEDCAM Ten80 Bullet Cam...

    Personally I think GoPro is the best...

    The RRP on the GoPro site is on £99, so not that great a saving

    I'd recommend spending an extra £40 on the Hero3, it has removable case and battery so more flexible.

    I was bought a Hero for my birthday in Jan and it is great, picture quality is awesome, and the accessories available make it really versatile

    Is the Hero3 not an extra £140 or thereabouts?
