    Try using openrent to advertise the house.....average let in 5 days. https://www.openrent.co.uk...very cheap and you are in control.

    They have had very little interest until this afternoon when they were approached by Bedfordshire County Council asking whether they could move a family of Traveler's in.
    Sounds like a fairy story. Why would a council identify the ethnicity of prospective tenants to a private landlord?

    NotSoCleverCloggy101, what I was referring to was the fact that a tenant can show antisocial behaviours (and cause problems for neighbours/LL) but not actually have an ASBO. So checking for an ASBO is not enough.
