My wifes car insurance ?????

Am at the age when Im thinking that if I die first, what happens to our car Insurance i.e.
I have always been the registered owner, main driver, my wife being the named driver.
Is there a way that she would not have to start from scratch ? as I can see the premiums being prohibative.?
We are about to change the car.

Most insurers are happy to swap over any NCD you have at the date of your death to your spouse if that is your concern.


If you feel your lights are going out check with your insurer what their procedure would be and swap insurers at the renewal if you are unhappy with their reply.
