Hi
I recently had to clear down my laptop as it kept crashing. I have Windows 8.1. I had to re install Microsoft 2007 among other programs. Now when I try to save my CSV credit card statement , the only option I have is All files.
When I then open the file I don't get excel as an option. Any ideas how I can get back all the options I had previously
Thanks in advance

It might be that the file association has been lost - here might help -
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows/change-default-programs#1TC=windows-7
If you right click on the csv file and select 'open with' then 'browse' for the Office installations under programs and find the 'excel' icon, this should open in Excel, assuming Office has reinstalled properly0 -
Right click on file in Windows Explorer then Choose Default Program as Excel.0
