Hi
You sent a message to my mobile this morning saying
'Is this phone still got it for sale? Get back to me via Ching.shong5@gmail.com'
Was it the ps3 you were interested in?

THIS PHONE WAS ADVERTISED AT £290 BUT THIS GUY HAS OFFERED TO PAY £400. HE HAS ASKED FOR MY PAYPAL ADDRESS SO HE CAN PAY
I AM VERY WARY WITH THINGS LIKE THIS.............WHAT I WANT TO ASK IS, AS LONG AS I DONT SEND THE PHONE OUT UNTIL PAYMENT HAS CLEARD ON MY ACTUAL PAYPAL ACCOUNT AND IT HAS BEEN TRANSFERRED TO MY BANK ACCOUNT, HAVE I GOT ANYTHING TO LOSE BY JUST SENDING MY PAYPAL ADDRESS TO HIM??
Thanks

The usual scam here is that you get a fake PayPal email telling you that funds are held until you provide the tracking number.
If buyer actually pays and you see the payment showing as 'ok to send ' in your PayPal account and you send fully tracked to the address PayPal give you will be fine. Withdrawing to your bank makes no difference, if you are scammed PayPal will chase you for the debt anyway.

Don't understand the OP at all.
Seriously, tidy it up, remove email addresses and the "sent from my..." nonsense.
Why do you expect people to help out if you can't even be bothered to make a coherent post? One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0 -
There are numerous ways you can get scammed
1) Receive fake email claiming to be from PayPal.
2) "Buyer" sends it as for goods/services and then claims it was never received/empty box.
3) "Buyer" uses paypal account that isn't his, gets goods and the owner of account puts in a unauthorised transaction dispute.
Don't even try, gumtree is for cash in hand mostly.0 -

Incidentally for number 3 seller would still be fully protected as long as they used the address that paypal say is OK to send to.
The rules are all explained on the sticky thread on the ebay board under 'postage'. Briefly though :
for an INR proof of delivery is needed
for claim for unauthorised use of a card then only proof of postage is needed.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. OP, I think you should remove your personal email address from your post.0
