Free Office Software?

I've started using LibreOffice. It's SO slow. If I want to activate it it shows "Not Responding" for up to a minute. When I type something in a cell I have to wait a few seconds for what I type to actually appear. Probably going to go back to Excel.

I've just put LibreOffice on an old laptop I reinstalled XP onto. It runs fine, but I wouldn't want to jump between MS office and LibreOffice, as they are distinctly different.

Do you have a Microsoft account? If so, then fire up Bing and use Office online. Won't give you all the bells and whistles of Office / Office 365 but is a good option if used along with Libre / Open Office. You could for compatibilities sake use Libre or Open to do the basic typing and then import into Word online for formatting and the final save.

If you want something that comes closest to Windows Office, try WPS.
The good thing about these free suites is that you can download them all and find the one that suits you best...
