Estimated time to rip out one kitchen and install another??

The kitchen units in my recently-bought house will be going at some point (ie when I can afford it).
However, I've been offered a kitchen worth of units from someone else's house that they are about to rip out.
They are my taste and look to be in good condition:D, so I'm going to investigate further on that as to whether I think they would be suitable for my house.
I would have to pay a workman to put them all back together again and fit them into my kitchen if I do decide they'll fit my kitchen.
Hence I'm wondering roughly how long it would take, as workmen here basically quote hourly rates for a job, and hence I'd want to know some sort of idea how many hours it would take to do this.

How big? Fitting twenty floor units and twenty wall units takes longer than fitting five of each....
You'll need to budget for new worktop and probably tiling. Reusing old units is probably a little more skilled than fitting new ones, as some will need a patch-up, and there'll be a problem if they aren't the right size.
Me, an amateur, takes a couple of hours to assemble and fit 3 wall units, same plus a bit for floor units. Worktop can take ages to get right...0 -
What I've got in my kitchen at present is 2 double wall units and 2 double floor units in effect, plus the sink unit. That's part of what is wrong with my kitchen - ie not enough cupboard space or work surface space.
As I don't know when I will be able to afford the new kitchen I decided on the second I spotted this house, then I've only made pretty vague plans as to "I'll have, say, another double wall cupboard or possibly some open shelves there. I'll have the biggest breakfast bar I can get underneath it." That way, I should have enough cupboard and work surface space.
First thing to do is to count how many units I'm being offered, as I've just looked around the kitchen and commented that its nice. However, I've obviously not counted units or thought in terms of how it would fit into mine, as thought never occurred to me that I would be offered it if I want. So, got to go and visit the kitchen I'm being offered again and start counting and measuring up to see if it would work transferred over to my house.
So, its not a big kitchen to do.
Good point re worktops and tiles. I'd got as far as thinking "I'd need new tiles".0 -
It'd be under a day, excluding tiling and worktop.0

our old kitchen was ripped out in a day. The new kitchen and utility was fitted in 3.5 days (not excluding building the room for it, wiring etc) and it is a very big room. Tiling was then 3 days.
They weren't done simultaneously for a number of reasons to do with the project as a whole and trying to get the lazy awkward plasterers a clear run on all the rooms so we had about 3 weeks with no kitchen.0 -
Take out existing units will take 1 day and as for installing the other kitchen units around 3 to 4 days depending on the size of your kitchen, if any of the units been damaged need to be replaced and make sure that you can find the material to match the units, you have to take into consideration that this work is not straightforward you will need a good workman. One of my friends bought their kitchen from ebay but it took him up to 2 weeks to install it if I'm not mistaking , been an amateur.0

save some money , by ripping out the old kitchen yourself.. You are going to have to move everything out anyway!"if the state cannot find within itself a place for those who peacefully refuse to worship at its temples, then it’s the state that’s become extreme".Revd Dr Giles Fraser on Radio 4 20170
