Very basic Facebook advice needed

Not a very technical question,I am sure (gosh, reading some of the posts around here it's like a foreign language :o),but I am trying to list things to sell on Facebook. As a rule,I am not "on FB",but I do list things to sell on FB selling pages.

Is anyone able to give me a step-by-step guide to posting photos (of items I want to sell) onto several FB selling sites. At the moment I have uploaded about 7 photos onto my home page.THEN,seperate to that,I uploaded the photos onto one FB selling site.By the time I had done that it was after midnight and had taken hours:eek:.

Can anyone give me an idiot's guide (I really won't be offended) to advertising my items on several different sites.I took photos on my Samsung phone, and, using a cable, downloaded them onto my laptop, then uploaded(?correct term) them to FB(my homepage and one selling site.).But what if I want to sell these on about 10 different sites at once??
Thank you x

I sell on several FB local selling pages, and AFAIK, you have to add your post separately to each one.

I tend to save the text in a doc then copy/paste it into the 'write post' section on the page, then add the photos.

With a fibre connection, the photos only take a few seconds to upload.

You could search how to re-size the photos - they don't need to have a huge file size to display well on FB. Even a simple program like Paint will resize photos quite easily.

Pictures from modern phones can be several MB and only really need to be a a few kilobytes, so will upload faster if made smaller - might be worth a try.
  • Thank you flashg67.I will have another look tonight after kids go to bed.
Do you upload them from the computer like I have?
