How many seats does the Skoda Roomster have? (Now asking about Zafira)

Hold on, are you saying I can get a brand new Zafira for around £11k?
Any suggestions on how to find the closest dealer to me (West Norfolk) that has these?
I've never bought a new car before. What do I need to do?
I'm seeing "Zafira Tourer" mentioned on some websites. Is that what the Zafira has always been called? Or is that the newer version that bigjl hinted at?0 -

I bought a new 1.6 a year ago for £10,500, list price £19k+. If you get one, be aware it doesn't have a spare wheel. They'll fit a cradle to carry one for about £200.
My local dealer is now offering pre-reg 1.8s for £9,995! http://www.wilsons.co.uk/vauxhall/new-cars/vauxhall-zafira-offers
The Tourer is the new version.0 -
If it doesn't have a spare wheel as standard, will the AA come out and sort it if you get a puncture?
I seem to remember that the rules are that they won't come and help if you've removed the spare wheel, but will if the car doesn't carry one.
In terms of buying one, then, am I best just phoning my local dealer and seeing what they've got / what they can get?0 -
And am I likely to get a better price if I do it sooner rather than later - before the 15 plates come out - or if I wait until they are out?0

I bought a brand new 1.6 zafira for £9500 last year.
I think there are still a few about. It was just before they dropped the vauxhall lifetime warranty so got it just in time
At that sort of price you get a lot of car for your money considering it was cheaper than a corsa or astra.
The zafira tourer is a bigger car with newer technology so expect to pay £18-25,000.
Get one ASAP before the last ones go.0 -

My spare wheel comment wasn't a criticism of the Zaf in particular - lots of makers are guilty of this. The sealant and compressor supplied is useless for anything other than a nail through the tread. Even if the AA come out, you're looking at a lot of time and inconvenience waiting for them, and then while they either recover you, or go away to source a tyre. Get a spare!0 -
I agree. Sounds good.At that sort of price you get a lot of car for your money considering it was cheaper than a corsa or astra.
I'll stick with the old style, then! The zafira tourer is a bigger car with newer technology so expect to pay £18-25,000.
Good point.Get one ASAP before the last ones go.
Can I go to any Vauxhall dealer, or do I need to find one that has them in stock?
What am I asking for? Is it a "Delivery Mileage" car? Or "pre-reg"? Or what?0 -

Delivery mileage will have a few miles on the clock where it's been moved about the various storage compound.
Pre reg will have been registered to Vauxhall or a dealer, you won't be the first keeper.0 -
And which of these, if either, is it that I want if I want one of these cheap deals that people have found?Spicy_McHaggis wrote: »Delivery mileage will have a few miles on the clock where it's been moved about the various storage compound.

Or is it just a case of wanting an "old shape" Zafira - i.e. not a Tourer?0 -
Depends whether you want to be the first keeper or not.0
