    This was the approach I took myself, after nearly dying of shock when I got a quotation from a bathroom designer! After a MSE life, getting three cups of tea from two teabags for example, it was very difficult to spend large amounts. However, I read that the value added to the property is three times the amount spent on a good bathroom. Good quality items will not crack or need to be replaced every 10 years or so.
