Did you get a letter explaining how your entitlement was worked out?
Did you check it to make sure that they had all the figures correct?
Very difficult to check for you since each council has its own housing allowance rates.
The online calculator can get it wrong, usually because the tax credits given are not what you are actually receiving.
Child Support is excluded from the calculations but tax credits are included.0 -
Iv not received the letter yet I called them today to see how it was going, ill wait till the letter turns up0

what is the LHA rate for your area (I am assuming the 2 bedroom rate unless your children are over 10 and opposite gender) the LHA rate is used in the calculations not the actual rent.0

Three Bedrooms Rate:£126.92 per week0

They will use the LHA rate in the calculations and not the actual rent (which is £100 per month higher)
If your children were same gender and both under 16 or different genders and both under 10 then they would use the 2 bedroom rate in the calculations0 -
both same gender two girls 14 and 18 the oldest goes uni end of september0
