Should I partially settle defaulted account?

    On your credit report it will show as settled, regardless of partial or full settlement.

  • I wont be near capital one again.

    Its more about I am now in a perm post and this is the only default, I should be in the position to look at a small house (say 55k mortgage) in the next year really, I don't want to make that any more difficult for the sake of £150 quid.

    Will show as satisfied with a partial settlement note to indicate the it was satisfied for less than the full amount.
