Tesco clubcard minimum payment

Anyway, I just spoke to Tesco and they have waived one 12 quid fee but adamantly refuse to waive any more despite my protestations and my threats to cancel the card, so this episode has cost me 24 quid. That's life !!

Have they removed the 19 months interest free as well?

I've just paid off the full debt and will now do that every month. I only really wanted the card for convenience and had no debts to transfer anyway, so not really bothered about the 19 months.

I've missed payments before by being abroad for extended periods and I've never had issues with getting new cards etc, as I have overall a good credit record. This blip won't make much difference IMO.

I have most of my bills on DD, just got a bit careless here. They won't catch me out again. :eek:

Tesco's charging summary clearly states that the minimum payment will always be no less than £25, so even if you are somehow unable to use the internet or a telephone abroad you knew your minimum payment was going to be £25 at the very least, not £5, before you signed up to the card (you DID read their card details/charging before applying for the card, of course?)
