Yahoo mail, is anyone else having trouble?

I've been having trouble with Yahoo mail yesterday and today.
I can get into my inbox and I can open emails but its not letting me answer them or compose a new one. I've tried changing browsers from IE to Google Chrome and to Firefox but no luck. I've switched off several times and back on again but that's not clearing it either. All its doing is showing the circling symbol that shows its working but it will sit there for half an hour doing that.
Have tried replying to an mail in Google and that is fine.
Don't know what else to do now.
Any ideas please anyone?
Thanks.

The last time there were problems a few months ago they blamed it on an underwater cable being damaged, so I don't know if a Great White Shark is to blame this time or not.“Learn from the mistakes of others. You can never live long enough to make them all yourself.”

Just tried mine out and no problems. I use Chrome browser.
Do you go into your email via the Yahoo website (as I do) or by other means?0 -
There were issues last Friday where you could only view the headers using a PC and Firefox, IE or Chrome, was OK on Android. Not had any issue since.0

Hi, yes I do go in via the Yahoo website as that is my home page.
Thanks for your replies guys, it seems to be alright now - very odd, haven't a clue why it went like that or why it righted itself. I haven't done anything different.
Was worried though as that is my main email account for work and everything, glad whatever issue it was has been sorted.
Thanks.0 -
Frustrating though it is when it happens, IMO it's best to try and forget it for a while an go fora walk, ha ha. Don't know what happens at yahoo, because I don't recall any other email systems going doolally. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. I'm not sure whether my problem is related....but it is driving me nuts!
I stopped receiving mail into my yahoo inbox at around 11.30am. I normally get stacks, where on earth is it, and how can I restore it? The help function is of no use - am now wondering if its a system glitch or just my account?
Am ashamed to admit that I cannot function without it. TIA

and within days of making the above post, yahoo and firefox are driving round the bend, so much so I have installed chrome (again) to see if there is any improvement. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Wouldn't the sensible answer be to stop using yahoo mail? From posts on here it seems to be the least reliable of all the major email providers.0
