Info here; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DVR-MSIf a recorded broadcast was marked as copy protected, the resultant DVR-MS file can only be played back on the recording device.
You could try using the demo version of Nero 7; http://www.nero.com/nero7/eng/nero7-demo.php If it doesn't work, defer to the Wiki article.0 -
re the copy protection & playback - yeah, you know how it is ... if there's a restriction on something there's probably someone who's already managed to crack it
I bet there's some utility floating around on one of those cdr/dvd guide websites!
And by cracking I mean the playback restriction, similar to duplicating copy-protected dvds, not that I'm endorsing that I'm just saying ...0
