Stay or sell and rent!!

Long story short I live in a house I bought with my ex partner, we split up 7 years ago and I now live with my new partner. We both have debts and partner is on a DMP which we reckon would take us 5 years ish to be debt free.
Had house valued and would probably just about pay off together mortgage with NRAM. We would then move to a rental property pay off our debts and start from scratch saving a deposit over 5-7 years ( I am 34 this year)
Do we either stay in the house with my exes name on all details unable to change or look at selling up and starting again?
The house currently needs some cosmetic work its liveable but if we stayed we would need to save for these works to be done, we thought it would be beneficial renting as this work would not have to be saved for and the money can be saved elsewhere!!
I'm getting a bit stressed with the whole situation, I love the house I Am in but feel a bit stuck in a situation and not sure if selling up and starting from scratch is the best idea!!!
I have posted a few times about this but still have not made a final decision !!

It Is the first home I have owned so I think that is making me biased, which loan do you mean as the mortgage is about 90K at present!!!0

Sorry, the unsecured loan first, unless it's already paid. Any loan with high interest first. If you can afford the mortgage and possible redress (not sure on your circs here) and things should get easier. Tracking your ex down is important, you want them off the mortgage !0

i agree before you spend money get the ex's name off the mortgage / deeds0
