Self catering near Brighton

Want to stay four nights in June (sat - wed) near Brighton for four people in self-catering accommodation. Looked on a few lettings sites but has anyone got any recommendations or specific places to look. Prices seem to go from £450 upwards but then the booking fees etc are added on which bumps up the prices. Know the prices in Brighton have gone up so we don't mind staying a few miles out.

If you don't mind staying a few miles out you could try Seaford, which is about 10 miles along the road. Nice little town, and easy to get to Brighton.

I have used airbnb to get accommodation when hotel are really expensive got a nice apartment for 3 people and they even threw in tea and milk! Great if you like a house or apartment rather than a hotel room.
