About a year ago BT said it was closing talk21 email accounts unless (a) you have BT broadband or (b) you sign up for the 'premium' email service.
I registered for the 'premium' service but have recently received emails saying:
"This e-mail has been sent to you by BT to inform you that we were unable to process your last payment of bill.This might be due to either of the following reasons...etc"
"The Classic version of BT Yahoo! Mail will be replaced by our new version on 17th February 2015. So it's time to upgrade, before you lose your email access..."
Is this whole thing a hoax? My wife didn't bother to upgrade her account and it's still working fine. Anyone else have this??
