I thought the use of those numbers was now barred , just looking at recent photos of parking signs (sip parking below) and it shows they are using 0870
I was under the understanding that customer services had to include a normal landline number as well as the higher rate one

Who cares? Why would anyone want to call them anyway? You should NEVER call a PPC or debt collector. I will achieve nothing except frustration and potentially saying something they can use against you.0

It's still extra ammo to fire back at a PPC though.

however , the premium (non free mobile numbers) are displayed on there sites and are your only contact if a machine does not issue a ticket etc.
I agree that you should not contact them to discuss things after receiving a ticket , but you could use "say no to" in order to get a landline number (from home) not everybody has access to mobile internet.0
