It should be 5-7 year AST, or 7+ years is AT.
There should be no need to sign another agreement, and as long as deposits are in place, no need to pay anything more than monthly.
This info has come from a Cllr with 20+ years housing experience.💙💛 💔0 -
The OP seemed to be in a rush and I was just about to walk out the door myself. - I didn't claim it to be fact.
It's better not to comment when you have no idea...CKhalvashi wrote: »It should be 5-7 year AST, or 7+ years is AT.
We still don't know what OP in fact has so we still cannot comment...
I think OP would be better off taking the details of the sales deal and the details of her tenancy (ie. agreement) directly to someone who can read them and give an expert opinion.
This is what should have been done before agreeing to the sale, but it's unfortunately too late.0 -

Good thing this is a public forum and questions and answers happen and discussion can occur.....
- think you'd be better writing a blog, where only your opinion is shared.0 -
OP, I would speak to Shelter or book an appointment with your local CAB ASAP, as you clearly need clarification on exactly what type of tenancy you have before you can proceed. They are an EYESORES!!!!0

Is it that difficult to understand?
It is your opinion, and you're entitled to it. That still does not prevent a public discussion taking place, regardless of the value you place on other people.0
