MIL diagnosed with cancer - what benefits?

As the title states my mother in law was diagnosed with cancer on Friday and has been given a sick note. Does anyone know what benefits she will be entitled to claim? I would imagine SSP but is there anything else? I don't know much about benefits having never had to claim them thankfully but any help is greatly appreciated!!
