Thanks for this. I don't have a landline, so when I rang up I paid £1 per min on mobile. However, knowing how much cheaper it is on a landline I will find a family member and use theirs!How long were you on the phone for? The call checker on this site lists the USA as 2.9p per minute, with other methods being available for the cost of an 0845 call.
Even on Virgin it's possible to call from 0.5p per minute.
Haha. You are quite right. The total cost was $4700, however I owe $170 which I've been told is the excess that my insurance didn't pay.I don't have a lot to add to the discussion, but I do want to know what medical procedure it was that only cost £100. Broken fingernail?
