That I can believe. If you claim from your own policy depending in your Insurer you may find the remaining instalments are deducted from the settlement you receive.
Personally I think you would be best waiting to see how much the other company offer you before making a claim on your own policy so you can assess which is financially best for you0 -
If you claim from your policy you'll also pay the excess and possibly loose ncb.
Your assuming they would do a substandard repair without good reason.0 -
