    As you mention that you do not like debt I cannot understand then why you want a bigger credit limit. Surely a person like yourself should be happy with a small credit limit as debt seems to worry you.

    Limit Is £200 Apr Is 29.9% Spend Around £195 Easch Month And Clear The Balance In Full Each Month

    I'd remind them of your past good history with them and maybe that your bank has offered you a credit card with a lower apr and higher credit limit (maybe 400 or 500) and could they help you stay with them otherwise you'll seriously consider moving and or closing the Cap1 account which is something you don't want to do as you've been with Cap1 and like them ;)

    no i have no ccj's or defaults thought the house i live in has alot of debt due to the old tenant.

    To be honest it shouldn't really matter about the house you live in as your a long term existing customer of Capital One and they have your personal account history - which speaks volumes.

    If your a new customer it could be a very different story however!
