Theatre Gift Vouchers - refund

Hi, we were given some Encore theatre vouchers as a gift. Having looked at the prices on their site vs the buying tickets direct, Encore add on such a large margin, the tickets would be the same price as if we booked them direct!!! This means our 'gift' is no gift at all!!! I have looked for the Ts and Cs to return them and get a refund, so we can actually use the money to contribute to some theatre tickets but i cannot find them. Has anyone noticed the same and how, if at all possible, have you got a refund.
