Hi all my ds dla will be up in june received the renewal forms end of jan.
I wrote it all out got supporting statements from doctor, my mum and friend/neighbour.
I sent in a paediatrian report, sensory report, 2x bladder and bowel report.
I asked my sons school they said they would fill one in but now its half term im not sure if there report will be great as school is very structured and routine and son lloves that. The senco has only met my son once she's new she did say she would put toileting down as his teacher has seen his troubles she said she would do form next day before they broke up but i never received it.
Ive asked the paediatrian and bladder n bowl specialist which said they would help but i sent forms in and said one recieved ill forward statements as i didn't want to wait to send off.
I sent the forms last weds and i checked reciept from postage office thurs it was received at the blackpool office.
How long are renewals taking at the minute? Do you think they will need the rest of the statements?
My son gets hc he was too young for mobility when his first renewal was due.
The very first time i applied for him we had to go to tribunal really don't want to do that again was very emotional and draining but will do if i have to.
Thank you all

I rang them and that was back payment for low mobility hes been awarded low rate mobility and high rate care.
A first award is often a year long, from experience of myself and some friends. Awards after that for my son were three years (twice), then an indefinite award. His indefinite award was around age 7 and he is now almost 17 and will be transferred to PIP later this year. However, I think indefinite awards are unusual. I don't know anyone else whose child has an indefinite award.
