I have a 2003 Range Rover TD6 that Im thinking of getting rid of as ive had it 5 years and a bit more of it now, they dont seem to be selling very quickly on autotrader so wondered if theres any sites/places when people consider swapping cars of similar value, with cash either way? (other than P/X at a dealer)

Some ebay sellers offer swaps, But ebay dont like it so you usually get something like no swaps (wink wink)
The issue is that whats the chance of someone having the exact same car that you want and also wanting the vehicle that you have.
Usually its a recipe for someone to offload a heap of junk, Thats worth little.

A RR should, with good condition and proved maintenance, be an easy sell. Hate to think what swaps you'd be offered, but slammed Saxos and broken PS3s spring to mind.0

I've used Gumtree and local facebook selling pages before, both free.
I agree with the above, i'd avoid swapping myself/0 -

The right car at the right price will ALWAYS sell.
Offering swaps is, as you say, a recipe for someone trying to offload their scrap onto you because they "say" its worth the same as your car - "i'll swap you your RR for my 2003 Vectra which i've advertised for £5,000".0 -
Why would you not consider p/x at a dealer, it seems to me that's a route that will offer just what you want, and with considerably more security?0
