Hello All,
I am saving up for my new shower room I have already got £200 plus another £200 this week ( I do have a nest egg put by but I really don't want to dip into that, I like having that for Christmas ) I do not need to pay for labour as hubby can do everything but I need ideas to save more or should I sell my Radley collection of handbags which is just sitting around doing nothing I wont use the bags now I have found across the body bags safer for me. I could sell other things but really don't like ebay much nowdays but have sold a few things on there just recently and only had one problem lady.. who drove me insane for about 2 weeks  any ideas please x x

just a little update I do not pay any bills ( hubby sorts that ) I do not have any subscriptions only ng kids which I buy with my Tesco vouchers

  • Oddies, you need to save at least 3-4K for your bathroom - that might take you some time

Don't worry pet I am in the same boat. I have zilch in kitchen fund and am starting from scratch.

I am not spending on ebay, taking lunches to work, will try to give up coca cola at work, will try to sell bits on ebay.

I saved a tremendous amount last time I was on here. I have just rejoined so you are not on your own. Stay chilled and save pet.

  • We had a new shower room installed in December. Gone from orange horrid room with old fashioned shower cubicle, toilet and sink and seriously orange tiles to a wonder of greys and really good quality units. We really searched the internet for the best deals. We now have a beautiful large shower room and toilet that has the wow factor. We paid for installation and tiling and supplied the goods. It cost us £3100 in total, very pleased with that. Forgot things like how much it cost to take stuff away and light fittings so went £100 over budget. Many bathroom companies quotes started at £6000!!
