Tesco wine deal MSE points. Tesco Wine turned us teetotal on Valentine's day.

Prompted by MSE's blagged 1000 points promotion, we ordered 2 cases of wine from Tesco. The wine was due to be delivered in a 7am to 7 PM window on Valentine's day. When this excessively wide time window had expired and no wine arrived, we called customer services to be informed that it wasn't Tesco's fault but the courier's fault and as they had no direct communication with the courier, they could give no indication as to when it would turn up either. They took their payment from our account on Friday i.e.prior to delivery; wasted a day of our time waiting in; failed to deliver our goods at the designated time and, as we stand, are not especially interested in sorting things out. On Sunday 15th we are still none the wiser about our order which has still not arrived and no-one has contacted us with an update. We have, however, been reminded about why we were inclned to take our custom elsewhere.

Why did you wait in all day for it ? I am always out when Tesco Wine deliver to me.
To be fair, it isn't totally Tesco's fault and they seem to not be able to get hold of the couriers over the weekend. If you call tomorrow I am sure that they will offer you a refund or replacement which is what they have done for me if ever I have had any problems.
As haynick has said above, this isn't a grabbit. It would be better suited on the praise, vent and warnings board.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Competitions Time, Shopping & Freebies boards, Employment, Jobseeking & Training boards If you need any help on these boards, do let me know. Mind me again how many T vouchers I got this time, ah £2.50! Of which all came at a garage consistently 5 pennies cheaper than their rip offs! Boycott these emporiums!0

Sorry, but what difference does it make that the failed delivery occurred on Valentine's Day? ...... Unless you were planning on filling the bath with champagne.0 -
